(NYSE: AVT), a leading global technology distributor, today announced that it has been named the exclusive global distributor for Microsemi Corporation’s ACT 1, ACT 2 and ACT 3 field programmable gate array (FPGA) families. Effective immediately, Avnet will manage quotes and new orders for these products as part of its Technology Life Support program, which provides customers with extended access to discontinued electronic components.
